Sophia Tang

Sophia Tang is a licensed acupuncturist and classical Chinese medicine practitioner. She has a master's  and a doctor's degrees in traditional chinese medicine (TCM).  She has been involved with healing for over twenty years.

Classical Chinese medicine is not taught well in modern schools of Chinese medicine. Rather, it is through finding requisite masters that the transmission of this lost art can take place. Besides formal school training in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine,  Sophia has studied the classical teachings (經方) of renowned Master Hai Sha Ni.  The other different modalities in which she has trained from other masters include energy healing, meditation, qi gong and massage.  She has been practicing qi gong for over a decade and study classical medicine continuously. In additional to Chinese medicine practice, Sophia likes to broaden her capacity by studying modern trends in biomedical research, especially functional medicine and nutrition.
With this knowledge, she is able to quickly get to the root cause of even serious health problems. She has successfully treat people with chronic health problems.  Her areas of expertise include pain management and internal disorders such as insomnia, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, heart disease, arthritis, kidney stones, gallbladder stones, prostate disorder, breast disorder, menstruation disorder, acid reflux, infertility, pregnancy support, pediatric acupuncture, etc.
